Which HubSpot Contact fields does Warmly update?
Last updated: September 2, 2026
If you’ve enabled Create or update contacts in your HubSpot integration settings, Warmly can sync data to the following standard HubSpot Contact fields:
Standard HubSpot Field | Behavior when creating or updating a contact |
Name | Fill if empty. If the value was collected in chat, Warmly overwrites the existing value with the value provided by the visitor. |
Never overwritten. Warmly uses this value to match the contact record. | |
Title | Fill if empty. If the value was collected in chat, Warmly overwrites the existing value with the value provided by the visitor. |
Owner | Fill if empty. If an owner already exists, Warmly will never change it. |
Phone* | Fill if empty. If a phone number already exists, Warmly will never change it. |
Mobile Phone* | Fill-if-empty |
Fax* | Fill-if-empty |
Address* | Fill-if-empty |
city* | Fill-if-empty |
State* | Fill-if-empty |
Zip* | Fill-if-empty |
Country* | Fill-if-empty |

* These fields are only synced when Sync back address and phone numbers is enabled. This setting controls whether Warmly syncs address and phone data when creating a new HubSpot contact.
Custom fields
If you’ve mapped custom fields in your HubSpot integration, the following rules apply:
Fields mapped to chat responses: Warmly overwrites the existing HubSpot value with the value provided by the visitor in chat.
Fields with a default value: The default value is only written when creating a new record. It will not overwrite an existing HubSpot value.
Warmly custom fields: These are always overwritten to ensure HubSpot has the latest values from Warmly.
