Lead routing allows you to distribute new, unassigned leads to your team based on company size, territory, or through a fair round-robin system, ensuring no lead is missed. Plus, your existing prospects get to chat with their pre-assigned reps, boosting engagement and sealing the deal with a friendly touch!
Step 1 - Create New Route
Step 2 - Title the Route and Select Ownership
Whether you use Salesforce or Hubspot, select [Contact/Lead Owner], [Account Owner], and [Opportunity Owner].
If you'd like, you can also select a fallback owner, if unassigned.
*Note that only reps who are Warmly users can be routed to. ____________________________________________________________________________
Territory-Based Ownership
Follow the steps below to set up Territory-based ownership of leads. If your team works leads by territory, any new, unassigned leads will be distributed to reps based off these rules. If the lead/account/opportunity is already owned, the owner will be tagged.
Step 1 - Select "Territory" then "+ Add Routing Rule"
Step 2 - Name the Route and add applicable Territory locations. Select the reps who are part of this Territory.
Step 3 - Select a rep to fallback to in the instance that none of the applied rules match.
Company Size-Based Ownership
Follow the steps below to set up Company Size-based ownership of leads. If your team works leads by company sizes, any new, unassigned leads will be distributed to reps based off these rules. If the lead/account/opportunity is already owned, the owner will be tagged.
Step 1 - Select "Company Size" then "+ Add Routing Rule"
Step 2 - Name the Route and add applicable Company Sizes. Select the reps who are part of this Company Size.
Step 3 - Select a rep to fallback to in the instance that none of the applied rules match.
Territory AND Company Size-Based Ownership
This is an example of Territory AND Company Size-based ownership. Any new, unassigned leads will be distributed to reps based off these routing rules. If the lead/account/opportunity is already owned, the owner will be tagged.
