Warmly partners with Slack to enable your team to receive real-time notifications in Slack channels whenever visitors come to your website. Utilizing segments, your team is able to filter out unimportant notifications from low intent or non-ICP sessions, and prioritize Slack notifications for the website visits that you care most about.

Step 1: Create a new Slack channel for notifications

Step 2: Name the Slack channel

  • For a basic, catch-all Slack channel, Warmly recommends warmly-general-leads

  • For a specific rep's Slack channel notifying them when their accounts are on the website, Warmly recommends warmly-johns-accounts

  • For a specific rep's Slack channel notifying them when accounts in their territory are on the website, Warmly recommends warmly-johns-territory

  • For a greenfield ICP channel notifying your team when net new accounts in your ICP visit the website, Warmly recommends warmly-greenfield-ICP

Step 3: Integrate the Slack channel in Warmly

Note: If this is your first Slack channel, you will select 'Get Started'

Note: To add additional Slack channels, select 'Add another integration'

Step 4: Finish the integration by searching for your Slack channel

Note: Ensure you are logged into the correct Slack org in the top right of your screen

Step 5: Implement proper segments to filter your Slack notifications

Note: By default, we will notify you for all identified sessions; adjust to fit your needs

Note: Use your Warmly CSM to ensure you have set up your segments properly
