A key use case of Warmly’s HubSpot integration is to have Warmly write data back to HubSpot. By doing this, Warmly is able to add i) companies identified, ii) visitors identified, and iii) Warmly properties into your CRM.

Once you’ve successfully integrated your HubSpot (see the Setting Up Warmly’s HubSpot and Salesforce Integrations help center article as needed), Warmly will start reading HubSpot’s data. However, in order for Warmly to start writing data back to HubSpot, you must switch on the ‘Enable real time sync’ button.

Without any segments, Warmly will write back all net new companies and visitors to your HubSpot. While this might be acceptable for some, we would recommend incorporating segments in order to ensure that only companies and visitors that are interesting to you are written back to your HubSpot (for example, applying segments to ensure that all added companies are ICP fits).

Warmly will write back Warmly properties for companies and contacts added to HubSpot (and even if we don’t add a company or contact to your HubSpot, we will write back properties where available from Warmly). Properties include:

  • Warmly Created: whether or not this company or contact was added to HubSpot due to Warmly

  • Warmly Last Seen: the last time this company or contact was seen on your website via Warmly

  • Warmly Segments: any segments within your Warmly dashboard that are associated with this company or contact

  • Warmly Total Active Time: number of active seconds on your website

  • Warmly Total Pages Viewed: total number of pages viewed on your website

  • Warmly Total Sessions: total number of unique sessions on your website

  • Warmly Total Visitor Count: total number of identified visitors on your website

This information can be critical for sales and marketing teams when considering things like retargeting, sales prioritization and lead scoring.
