Warmly Implementation Documentation: LinkedIn Ads

Last updated: May 6, 2026

Note: This is only available on paid Warmly plans, it is not available to Freemium users.

What is this feature?

The LinkedIn Ads integration lets you automatically send ICP-fit website visitors and contacts from Warmly into a LinkedIn Matched Audience — so your marketing team can retarget them with ads without exporting another CSV.

You can start with any contact Warmly has identified — whether they came from your website, an intent signal, or another source.

From there, you can:

  • filter down to your ideal customer profile (ICP)

  • exclude current customers

  • optionally expand to other buying committee members at the same account

Then simply add a Send to LinkedIn Ads step to your orchestration. Every contact that flows through that step is automatically added to the audience you selected.

You can either:

  • send contacts to an existing LinkedIn Matched Audience, or

  • create a brand new audience directly inside Warmly — no need to open LinkedIn Campaign Manager first

Here’s a quick walkthrough video explaining how the feature works:

Before you start

Make sure you have the following in place:

  1. Warmly admin access: Only admins can connect new integrations.

  2. LinkedIn ad account permissions: The user connecting the integration must have admin access to the ad account you want to use.

  3. A defined ICP segment in Warmly: This works best when you already have a focused ICP segment that excludes current customers and poor-fit accounts.

Note: The minimum audience size required to run an advertising campaign on LinkedIn is 300 member accounts. A campaign will automatically begin delivering once the audience reaches a minimum of 300 members.

Step-by-Step Instructions

Part 1 — Connect LinkedIn Ads (one-time setup)

  1. In Warmly, go to Integrations and scroll to the Ads section.

  2. Find LinkedIn Ads and click Integrate.

  3. A LinkedIn authentication window will open. Sign in and authorize Warmly to access your Campaign Manager.

  4. Once connected, your authorized ad accounts will appear under Connected Ad Accounts in Settings → LinkedIn Ads.

You can return there anytime to confirm the connection or disconnect it.

Part 2 — Add LinkedIn Ads to an orchestration

  1. Go to the Outbound Agent and open an existing orchestration or create a new one.

  2. On the canvas, add a Send to LinkedIn Ads action.

  3. Open the step and configure:

    1. Ad Account: Choose the LinkedIn ad account you want to send contacts to.

    2. Matched Audience

      Choose either:

      1. an existing audience, or

      2. Create new audience; give it a name, and save it

    3. Click Done to save the step.

  4. Publish the orchestration.
